The first pictures are of the pandas Joe gave me for Valentines day. Tare panda is the name of the big panda. Tare means droopy face or something. I made Joe the Valentine's day card.





The first picture is of the cultural day in Minakuchi... the band is singing Ponyo with the Brazilian children. The second picture is of Joe and I with Mr. Tanuki. The Tanuki is supposed to be a symbol of good luck in this region.


Our little attempt at making some Okonomiyaki. Okonomiyaki is a pancake/pizza type of food from Osaka. We've had it about three times in Japan. I can honestly say that the ones we made were NOT the worse we had.
